Folding Backstop Padding

Baseball field backstop padding is a protective covering that is securely installed on the backstop area of softball and baseball fields. The primary purpose of having it in place is to shield players and any spectators by absorbing the impact of stray balls. It also brings an air of professionalism to the field.

Installing backstop padding involves mounting it securely to the structure using durable hardware. Our pads have durable grommets on the sides, top, and corners that allow you to tie them securely to ensure you get a snug, effective fit. This ensures they work as intended and stay in place in windy conditions.

Yes! Many backstop padding options, including those from Trigon Sports, allow you to customize them with team colors, logos, and branding. This feature is a great way to showcase school pride or professional branding on the field.

To keep your backstop padding looking its best, you want to regularly clean it with a mild detergent and lukewarm water. As you clean, see if you can spot any wear, such as faded areas or tears. Store the padding in a dry location with all your other baseball equipment during the off-season to help make it last longer, especially in cold, snowy regions.

High-quality backstop padding is durable enough to last several years under regular use. However, exposure to harsh weather conditions or heavy impacts may require periodic replacement.
